USD Consumer Credit
Released by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve, the Consumer Credit is a measurement in the fluctuations of value of outstanding consumer credit which demands installment payments. While being in close relation to consumer confidence and spending, the figure may be volatile as it is often subjected to substantial revisions. A higher than expected reading should be taken as positive/bullish for the USD and may indicate economy growth. The potential "higher than expected" reading, however, may also indicate that the economy is overheating due to consumers borrowing profusely in order to live beyond their means.
